It’s no secret that great product photography increases sales and lends professionalism and credibility to products and the people selling them. Many of our clients come back to tell us how excited they are about the way great product photography has transformed their website or catalog and added a new level of quality.
Our job as your product photographer is to make your products look their absolute best. We take our time on every piece we shoot, giving each shot the individual attention it deserves. The results are beautifully clean, crisp images that show your products in their best light.
Product photography, however, is only half of our job. The other half is taking care of our clients! We’ve always been a big advocate of great service and putting in the extra effort to give people a great experience. Many of our clients tell us that the ease of the process, affordability, and friendly service is why they keep coming back.
Based in East Sussex Perceptive Photography by Syman Kaye makes your products look their best. All product photographs need some from of digital manipulation, even if its just removing spots of dust. We use photoshop and lightroom extensively for editing images and cutting out images for use on Amazon, Ebay and in brochures and websites. Our product cut-outs are provided as EPS files with paths or as transparent png’s or flattened Jpegs. we can provide images in the 3 most useful colour spaces RGB, sRGB and CMYK. Don’t worry if all that means nothing to you, we will explain why colour spaces and files types are important when using images across multiple forms of media. Basically you need a different colour space (created from the same files) for printing an image than you do for using one on the web. To add to the confusion you also need a different files type depending on how the image will be used. Our web images are optimised for use on monitors, these are lower resolution version and would be provided in the sRGB colour space as PNG’s or Jpeg’s. Print files are provided in the CMYK colour space and TIFF, PSD or EPS files formats. It’s a sad fact that so many product photographers out there know almost nothing about the correct combinations of colour space and file format combinations.
Let us guide you through the process and ensure that you get images that look great across the multi media world we now live in.
